Our story began fifteen years ago when I embarked on my own ‘self-evaluation boot camp’, with the purpose of discovering what I wanted and how I could use my strengths to lead a more fulfilling life.
As part of this process I recognised that I am a true people-person and that throughout my career and lifelong hobby of netball, I realised I had been inadvertently developing these people skills further along the way.
Self development and developing others have always fascinated me so I decided to combine these passions by becoming an accredited business coach in 2003. After pulling all these self evaluations, skills and goals together I decided to take a leap of faith and in 2005 I created redKite Performance Coaching (named after the beautiful bird I find so inspiring), to offer one-to-one performance coaching to businesses.
To get started I went knocking on the doors of local businesses where I had the good fortune of finding my first clients.
I soon began to work with a number of senior executives, delivering one-to-one coaching to rave reviews. These same clients were so happy they asked me to design and deliver development programmes suitable to roll out across their leadership teams.
This was when redKite really began to take off and today we deliver one-to-one coaching and a range of individual and team development programmes across the whole of the UK and mainland Europe.
I firmly believe that without that big dose of self-scrutiny (which I continue to this day!) and leap of faith, I might never have achieved what has turned out to be an incredible journey, where I get to work with extraordinary people and an amazing team who share the vision of making a positive difference to everyone we work with.
